Grab your classy canvas and leather backpack and let’s go on a new adventure! Check out these amazing places our fans have shared that you can visit in the United States this summer:
Lake Tahoe is the largest alpine lake in North America and one of the top tourist attractions in both Nevada and California. It is a place to enjoy breathtaking views and many activities all year round. Because of its geographic location, you need to dress properly to visit Lake Tahoe, the sun is very strong so it can get really hot especially in the summer and it can get really cold at night because of the altitude. Pack your Patriot water repellent backpack with sunscreen, a hat, your beach towel, a ball and enjoy this lovely place.
There are bike trails that go around the lake so you can bring or rent a bike and ride with that spectacular view. Other activities to try are hiking, boat tours, visit the many restaurants and bistros nearby, or test your luck in a casino! This a perfect destination for a day trip with your friends. Fill your TruBlue backpack with snacks and drinks to have a picnic at the beach.
The Grand Canyon is one of the most iconic wonders of the world. Over 5 million people from all over the globe travel to the US to visit this famous canyon every year. Also, many movies have been filmed in different sections of the canyon, as it is 446 kilometres long, 29 kilometres wide and has a depth of over a mile (1.9 km). You can plan a road trip with your friends and explore in detail all the amazing spots the Grand Canyon has, so grab your Original canvas and leather backpack and let the adventure begin!
Many visitors make the mistake of going to the canyon without planning and researching, so they get overwhelmed when they get o their destination and see this massive place, you don’t even know where to start. So, our first piece of advice is to make a list of the places that you want to see within the canyon, check how much time you have and plan accordingly.
Driving along the canyon is very beautiful, the view, the road, you will want to stop, take amazing photos with that breathtaking view and maybe do some hiking. If you don't have much time we recommend these 3 short hikes that have great expansive views: the Kaibab Trail to Cedar Ridge, the Skeleton Point Trail or the Grandview Trail to the first overlook. Always have your travel backpack ready with snacks, water, a hat and camera, to jump to an adventure at any moment.
New York, it’s one of my favourite cities in the U.S, there is so much to see in this city that never sleeps” as Frank Sinatra said. People might think that New York is just a concrete jungle, but it has the right balance with nature and ocean views. Central Park in the middle of all those high-rise buildings gives a fresh breeze with a lovely view. Explore the city and prepare your unique TruBlue canvas and leather backpack with snacks, your favourite blanket, fruits, and enjoy a nice picnic in Central Park. Watch out for the squirrels though, they are cute but very smart and can steal your food!
The best way to explore New York is walking, so wear your most comfortable shoes since it will be a lot of walking. Visit the World Trade Center and take some pictures with all the iconic landmarks around. Head to the harbour and take a boat tour to visit the Statue of Liberty, from the boat you will have another perspective of the city and the view of the skyline is incredible. Since you’ll want to make the most of your day, always have some nuts, fruits, granola bars and drinks in your canvas backpack, this way you can keep exploring all day. End your day eating the local New York style pizza!
New York has many parks to enjoy the views of the city, take photos, rest under a tree or read your favourite book. The several bridges that connect the other cities to Manhattan are a great place for cool photos, remember to visit the Brooklyn bridge which is a favourite for tourist to cross, enjoy the view and end at Dumbo park to have a nice ice cream.
